In these unprecedented times, I want to share what we are doing at Lynn Puzzo Photography to protect the health of all our clients during the COVID-19 pandemic. I wanted to let you know about our health and safety policies to hopefully alleviate your fears as much as possible. As of right now, it is business as usual here at LPP and your full sessions will still take place. We are still accepting bookings. Only one session per day will be scheduled, and there will be a day in between each session scheduled. Mini sessions will not be scheduled at this time. Fresh 48 sessions will resume once hospital policies allow. Should this change, you will be notified immediately. We are monitoring the local situation to the best of our abilities.
As always, we are diligently following sanitizing protocols in our studio, but now with a great deal more frequency.
Each day, we are taking extra care to sanitize all high-touch surfaces (camera equipment, door knobs, railings, chairs, counters, etc.). Per our normal operating procedure, any of the (reusable) props that will be used during your session (blankets, wraps, outfits etc) are always washed in hot water and dried on high heat prior to usage. Additionally, anything that can not be washed and/or sanitized will be sprayed with Lysol when possible, be put aside and unused with any other client for a minimum of 72 hours.
Because I am being as careful as I can, my nails are trimmed and scrubbed, my clothing is changed after each client, and as always, you will see me washing and sanitizing my hands frequently during your session. My teenage children are not being allowed to spend time with friends to minimize the chances of them contracting any illness of any kind. As a family, we are limiting our interaction with the public as possible.
When you enter the studio, please leave coats, jackets, bags and other personal items that will not be needed during your session in the car. Please remove your shoes and leave them by the entryway. Hand sanitizer will be provided, and/or you may thoroughly wash your hands for the recommended 20 seconds upon arrival. (Pick your favorite song chorus to sing!) Only pre-packaged snacks will be provided during your newborn session at this time, so choices may be limited. You are welcome to bring along your own favorite snacks if you would like.
We are currently limiting studio access to immediate family / those being photographed only : no grandparents, friends or other extended family members during the session, please. If you’d like to have just your newborn photographed at this time, and parents or siblings at a later date, please contact me to make arrangements, we are glad to accommodate this request.
And of course, if you or your children feel unwell, or exhibit any cold or flu-like symptoms, please call to rebook your session at no charge. If I, or anyone in my household are not well, I will reach out to reschedule as well. Anyone appearing ill upon arrival will be rescheduled.
If you have any questions or concerns prior to your session please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 860-417-8156.
Rest assured your baby’s health and safety is always my #1 priority. I appreciate everyone’s efforts in keeping my studio space free of illness. And, as always : wash your hands, cover your mouth with your elbow or tissue when coughing or sneezing, wash your hands, avoid touching your face, and wash your hands!
ALSO : we have toilet paper!
Be well, be kind, and stay healthy everyone!
