Why did you do a Starbucks cake smash?

Lynn is always exploring the Internet looking for original cake smash ideas that match the personalities of her clients. Let’s face it, time flies by, and before you know it your little one is quickly approaching his or her first birthday. Moms can feel relieved knowing that when they visit Lynn Puzzo Photography all they need to bring is their little one. First, the adventure begins after mom and Lynn talk about the baby’s personality and what interests them. In this case, it was Santana who is a local mom blogger in the Atlanta area. Next, Lynn met with Santana and her precious daughter Aria to begin the process of gathering ideas from a variety of fashion websites, Instagram Influencers, local cake bosses, and popular trends from around the world. Finally, Lynn found just the right outfit at an online boutique called Ritzy Baby which had the cutest Starbucks outfit. After that, the vision for this session was born.

Lynn goes to great lengths to find original cake designs, and props that give each cake smash its own unique look and feel. She partners with a vast network of vendors that specialize in custom items that fit the personality of the baby. In this case, the local Starbucks donated many of the branded items you see in the background. Sandra at Santini Mini Sweets in Atlanta designed the cake. As you can see it’s too beautiful to smash, but what we love the most about the baby’s first birthday is the ability to take some beautiful pictures and then step back to capture those precious moments when they really enjoy their first sugar rush! Aria showed up in the studio so excited to get started. The look on Santana’s face upon seeing the set was priceless.  We all had so much fun celebrating the first of many happy birthday moments together.
