Let’s talk about Maisie’s Rainbow Baby Session—it was an absolute delight!
Imagine a tiny bundle of joy, just 27 days old! Serene and peaceful, she slept soundly throughout, allowing us to capture every fleeting moment of her newborn perfection.
And when she graced us with her radiant smiles, it felt as though the sun itself had broken through the clouds.

Maisie was absolute sweet perfection! I could have snuggled her for days!

For those unfamiliar with the term, a rainbow baby is a child born after the loss of a previous baby due to miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant loss.
In other words, the unimaginable. The worst of the worst.
Like a rainbow after a storm, these precious little ones bring light and color back into the lives of their families, symbolizing hope and healing.

Inspired by the symbolism of rainbows and the vibrant hues they represent, we curated a palette of pink, purple, and taupe for Maisie’s portraits.
Against this backdrop, she looked every bit the angelic vision she truly is, her delicate features illuminated by the soft glow of the studio lights.

To complement Maisie’s natural beauty, we adorned her with carefully selected props and accessories from some of our favorite vendors, including The Golden Stitch, Hello Little Props, and Huckleberry Baby.
Each piece added a touch of whimsy and charm to the photos, enhancing the enchanting atmosphere of the session.

But perhaps the most meaningful aspect of Maisie’s session was the opportunity to reconnect with her family, who had entrusted us with the precious task of capturing their newest addition.
Having photographed Maisie’s big brother, Nash, two years prior, it was an honor to witness their family grow and evolve over time.
Repeat customers like them are truly the heart and soul of our work, and we are forever grateful for their trust and loyalty.

As Maisie’s session went on, we couldn’t help but feel a sense of gratitude and awe for the privilege of documenting such a special moment in her family’s journey.
