As a Professional newborn photographer, it’s always an honor when families return for a second newborn session with their new babies.
As the second baby in his family to be photographed by me, Eli’s session was filled with love, memories, and a touch of nostalgia.
We first photographed his big sister Karter back in 2019, and it was so meaningful to recreate some of the same poses and props from her session for Eli, making sure they have matching portraits that will connect their childhood memories forever.
Eli’s session was carefully styled to match the earthy tones of his nursery, with natural greens, tans, and browns creating a warm, cozy atmosphere.
His mama had requested a natural palette that would reflect the calming, cozy vibe of his room – and we were able to that perfectly with beautiful props from Hello Little.
The results were absolutely stunning, with Eli nestled peacefully in each set, looking as though he belonged in his own little world. It was the perfect way to capture his first days.
What made this session even more special was that Eli was the last baby I photographed in 2024, a sweet symmetry because Karter was also the last baby I photographed for the year back in 2019.
This little full-circle moment was one that will always hold a special place in my heart.
Additionally, with Eli’s arrival just days before Christmas, we decided to add a few Christmas and winter-themed shots to his session, creating some festive and timeless memories that celebrated both the holiday season and his early moments.
